Accountability to our Board of Directors

Fountain Tire believes and invests in the highest standard of corporate governance.

Our fiduciary board includes Fountain Tire and Goodyear leaders, as well as independent members. Together, they are responsible to ensure all business is conducted responsibly, with the highest degree of accountability.

Our Board of Directors is elected to protect the long-term value of the company. They make sure the right leadership team is in place and oversee the Fountain Tire strategic plan. The board receives quarterly and annual business overviews and conducts wide-ranging internal audits. The board also have a Governance Committee, Audit Committee and HR Committee, and meets four times annually.

This high level of governance ensures that all stakeholder concerns are fairly represented.

Most importantly, those of our customers.

Minimizing Risk to our Business

A better road ahead is a promise to operate in a responsible manner. We minimize business risk so our partners and customers can count on us. It’s a promise kept every day by having adopted an Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

The framework is designed to ensure our associates, customers, partners, shareholders, and communities are not put at unnecessary risk and that our company operates in a responsible manner.

Ethical Standard to Run Our Business

All Fountain Tire associates, and our Board of Directors members, must follow the company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics. Our goal is to have 100% of all associates review and acknowledge our Code of Conduct and Ethics annually, starting in 2024.

Our code guides our decisions and behaviours. It helps ensure our people act and perform their duties honestly and ethically. It directs us to treat everyone with fairness, dignity, and respect when dealing with Fountain Tire team members, customers, vendors, and members of our community.

If there is a violation of our Code of Conduct and Ethics, we actively work to make it right and learn from what happened. This helps us to prevent future incidents.

If you feel that a Fountain Tire associate has broken this code in any way, you can report the incident so it can be investigated. No reprisals will be taken towards a person who makes a complaint in good faith.
