Nelson Tonn
Vice President Sales & Mine Service
Career Summary
In 2009, Nelson was promoted to Vice President, Marketing and Supply Chain, then became the Vice President of Sales in 2015, in 2019 he was asked to also lead the Mine Service business. Nelson started his career with Fountain Tire in 1998 as an Advertising Coordinator on the Marketing Team.

Education
Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta. “Alumnus with an Outstanding Career in the Retailing Sector” award from the University of Alberta School of Retailing.
Community Involvement
In 2021, the Alberta Recycling Management Authority appointed Nelson to the Board of Directors, where he currently serves as the Chair for the Tire Industry Council. Nelson is also an active Board Member of two Indigenous businesses: Kivalliq Tire Mine Service, and Kitikmeot Tire Mine Service. He continues to be an active Board member, and Member at Large at numerous other not for profit Boards within the province of Alberta.
