Yves Richard
Vice President, Supply & Wholesale
Career Summary
Yves began his Fountain Tire career in January 2014 after 17 years in various product-related roles in the Canadian telecom industry. He led the Product & Pricing team for several years, during which he created the Mechanical Service Manager role to help steer our store network’s retail mechanical offerings, leading to the launch of Fountain Tire’s Digital Vehicle Report solution. He was promoted to General Manager in January 2023, by which time his responsibilities had been expanded to include the Wholesale business, the Retread business, and the Inventory team. In addition to supporting three key business units at Fountain Tire, Yves now chairs the board of Goodyear’s Canadian Commercial Tire and Service Network (CTSN), made up of Commercial dealers across the country.

Education
Yves is a graduate of the University of Alberta’s Bachelor of Commerce program, earning his degree with distinction in 1996, with a Major in Management Information Systems and a Minor in Marketing. While at the U of A’s School of Business, Yves served as President of the Cooperative Education Student’s Association (CESA) in its inaugural year.

Community Involvement
In the community, Yves is on the Board of Directors for the Edmonton Squash Club (ESC).
