Hi Sami,
Thank you for your feedback and I apologise that your visit with us was not satisfactory. It seems that we originally had the vehicle inspected, did the oil change, and had given you a call at 1pm on the day you had dropped it off, which ordinarily would have been plenty of time to get the brakes replaced. Unfortunately, there were multiple fitments for front brake pads and rotors on the Fiesta with the turbo. We had ordered in a few just for them to be wrong in one way or another, such as the measurements were slightly off, or the parts were boxed wrong, or the listing from our vendors were wrong. The Service Manager had said that they had called you a few times throughout the day to keep you updated that the brakes were taking longer to complete than usual, and had informed you at about 3pm that the Fiesta would need to stay overnight since we weren't sure when this last set of parts was going to arrive. The brakes were finished, and the vehicle was test driven and checked over one last time before 10am the next day.
We typically don't order parts before the vehicle is here so we can verify that those parts are what the vehicle requires so we are not selling you something unnecessary. It also wouldn't have helped in this case as we had to order multiple different part numbers of the same part before we found the correct fit.
We also couldn't reset the oil light as the Fiesta has a tuner that requires a passkey to access the dash, and since we do not have this passkey, we were not able to reset to oil life. The Service Manager had called you to ask you about the tuner and you had said that you would handle it since you had the passkey at home. The technician had tried many other ways available to them to reset the oil life that didn't require going through the dash, but none of them were working so the only other option we had was to get the passkey from you and perform the reset.
